Social Contract

The School District's Office of Climate and Safety pledges to provide monthly incident reports to Youth Safety Coalitions in each region, as a way of measuring progress in reducing violence in the schools and the neighborhoods.

Online Resources

  • Philadelphia Schools-Includes Profile of School Attendance, School Climate, Suspensions, and PSSA Test Scores for every school. The "Demographic and Climate Information" includes data on assaults, disorderly conduct, and suspensions for each school over the past two years.
  • Safe and Sound 2004 Youth Report Card-An annual analysis of the state of young people in Philadelphia, focusing on safety, health, and educational performance.
  • Neighborhood Information System Crime Base-Culled from Police District reports, a comprehensive database of crimes in Philadelphia that can be retrieved by census tracts, neighborhood, zip codes, and feeder areas surrounding elementary schools.
